How to use supercapacitors correctly
Nowadays, technology is developing better and better, and supercapacitors are gradually entering everyone's field of vision. But many people are not familiar with supercapacitors and do not know how to use them correctly. So how should supercapacitors be used?
To use it correctly, pay attention to the following points:
1、 Supercapacitors have fixed polarity;
2、 Supercapacitors should not be used in high-frequency charging and discharging circuits as they can easily lead to aging;
3、 Supercapacitors should be used away from sources of fire and humid environments.
Firstly, the lifespan of supercapacitors is related to the humidity in the surrounding environment. If the humidity is too high, the lifespan of supercapacitors will be affected. Therefore, do not place supercapacitors in environments with high humidity during use.
Secondly, because supercapacitors have fixed polarity, blind use can cause supercapacitors to malfunction. Therefore, the positive and negative polarity of supercapacitors should be determined before use.
Finally, after the installation of the supercapacitor is completed, do not rotate the supercapacitor casually anymore, as such operation will deteriorate the performance of the supercapacitor.
Although we may not be able to use supercapacitors frequently nowadays, over time people will increasingly need them in their daily lives. Therefore, mastering the usage methods of supercapacitors in advance can avoid errors in their formal use in the future.
matters needing attention:
1、 Application
1. The operating temperature of lithium-ion capacitors should not exceed the upper or lower limit of the rated temperature (-20 ° C to+55 ° C)
2. Lithium ion capacitors should be used at nominal voltage. Together, in order to extend the service life of the product, we recommend the use of monomers within the "rated voltage" range (2.5V-3.8V).
3. Before using lithium-ion capacitors, please acknowledge their polarity and prevent reverse connections.
4. The external environmental temperature has a weight impact on the lifespan of lithium-ion capacitors, please stay away from heat sources.
5. Do not directly touch water, oil, acid, or alkali in lithium-ion capacitors.
6. Do not pinch, prick, or disassemble lithium-ion capacitors.
7. Do not dispose of lithium-ion capacitors casually. When disposing of them, please dispose of them according to national environmental standards.
2、 Storage
1. During transportation, lithium-ion capacitors should be avoided from violent vibration, kneading, rain exposure, and chemical corrosion. They should be handled with care.
2. Lithium ion capacitors should not be placed in places with a relative humidity of 85% or above or containing toxic gases. In such environments, the leads and casing are prone to moisture and corrosion, leading to circuit breakers in ultrafast charging batteries.
3. If lithium-ion capacitors need to be stored for a long time, please store them in a well ventilated place with a temperature of -40~35 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity below 50%.
